Princess Beatrice will not be able to join her family in Balmoral for the remaining of the summer. After her short honeymoon in France, with new husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the royal is, apparently, forced to comply with the government's orders.

According to Marie Claire, Princess Beatrice is not allowed to visit her grandparents since she came back with her husband from their honeymoon. Instead, she will have to quarantine at home for 14 days because it is the safety protocol.

Princess Beatrice and Edo spent a few weeks in the south of France after their July wedding. But, by the time they were going back home to the U.K., the government changed its guidelines about travel in and out of the country.

There used to be a travel corridor allowing Brits to visit France without the need to quarantine and this resulted in a travel surge. The government canceled this arrangement in the middle of August, after COVID-19 cases increased, putting travelers in a bind, including Princess Beatrice and Edo.

At Balmoral, guests and staff are strictly instructed to quarantine before they can be near Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Strict safety protocols are, also, enforced around the monarch and her husband since they are both vulnerable to the virus.

Members of the royal family are asked to social distance from Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip when they are together. If they wish to have summer gatherings, they are advised to do this outdoors and not within the main house where Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh stay.

Princess Eugenie, Beatrice's sister, is already in Balmoral with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. The couple was seen arriving at the Scotland estate in the middle of August and was welcomed by the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and Sophie.

While Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are expected to stay in their Scotland estate until October, summer events with the royal family will soon end. By September, the royals will resume their duties and their kids will return to school. Thus, Princess Beatrice will be missing out on the traditions that they usually enjoy during August.

Meanwhile, reports revealed that Princess Beatrice and Edo are planning a second longer and more luxurious honeymoon trip if travel arrangements are relaxed. The couple isn't letting the pandemic dampen their wedded bliss despite the changes and adjustments they have to make to celebrate their union during this crisis.
