Prince Harry said that he would have definitely flown back home to London if there was no COVID-19 pandemic. The Duke of Sussex said that he has plans of coming back if travel arrangements are better in the next few months.

In a video conference with members of the Rugby Football League, Prince Harry said that he would've participated in the celebrations of the sports' 125th anniversary this year. But, he has bigger plans to join the World Cup in 2021 and promised that he will be there to celebrate the event, especially since England is the host.

Prince Harry has been living in the United States for six months since the start of the global lockdown. The Duke of Sussex, recently, bought a house in Montecito, California, with his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

The royal said that he is "loving" his life in the U.S. but he has one small problem. He revealed that he's been having a hard time finding a decent children's rugby ball in California so he could start teaching and passing on to his son, Archie, his love for the game.

The Duke of Sussex said that he feels fortunate to have space where he and his son can play outdoors. He expressed that he might sign up Archie in a community rugby league but he also has no luck finding this stateside.

Reflecting on the pandemic, however, Prince Harry said that COVID-19 doesn't discriminate.  The royal said that he is "constantly aware" of how other people are struggling with this crisis and with staying home at high rise buildings without having a peek of the outdoors.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan will, reportedly, have an extended stay in the U.K. if travel is better next year. They plan to be in the U.K. for the Trooping the Colour, the Queen's official birthday in June, and the unveiling of Princess Diana's new statue in Kensington Palace on her birthday in July.

The Sussex family might, also, spend a good part of their summer next year in Balmoral. Prince Harry and Meghan originally planned to stay with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip this summer but plans have been canceled because of all the restrictions and safety precautions in place to protect the elder royals from the virus.

The last time Prince Harry and Meghan were in the U.K. was for Commonwealth Day on March 9. It was their last official function as working members of the royal family.
