According to HollywoodLife, a renewed romance is not in the cards for the ex-couple. Indeed, they had a good relationship as co-parents and friends right now. However, they had their own reasons for not retaking another shot at love.
An insider told the publication the 41-year-old socialite had no plans to get back into a "romantic relationship" with her baby daddy. Although she would always love her three kids' father, she had moved on from what they used to have.
She had been there for him after his split from Richie. It was a challenging experience for the 37-year-old media personality.
Although he did not think of marrying the 22-year-old model, he was happy. He had loved her so much that he was sad their relationship was over.
The source continued the Kardashian and Disick were the best of friends and would always love one another. She always wanted what would be the best for him, although they had been like oil and water.
However, they were trying their best to make things work out for the sake of their kids. Although Kris Jenner also wanted them to reunite, there were many "back and forths" on getting back together.
The love they had for each other was not like what they used to have before. Anyhow, they were more than happy to be co-parents but had no plans to pursue a relationship again.
Disick and Richie decided to part ways in May but continued to see each other and attend parties together. Rumors had it they rekindled their romance in July, but news emerged they officially ended their relationship in August, Elle noted.
A source revealed Richie tried her best to make things work between them after their first split. However, Disick decided to officially call it off. They were even no longer speaking to each other.
After almost three years of romance, the 15-year age gap between the two, reportedly, became an issue. The Talentless founder was in a "very much different place" in his life today, focusing on a more serene lifestyle, his kids, and businesses.
Alternatively, Richie was only 21 and still trying to find what she wanted to do in life. Allegedly, these things drove them apart.
