The Boys season 2 episode 4 is coming next week on Amazon Prime Video, with the title "Over the Hill With the Swords of a Thousand Men." The series released the first three episodes of the second installment. Now, it's seemingly clear where the story is heading moving forward.
In The Boys season 2 episode 4, we could learn more about Stormfront (Aya Cash), the newest addition to The Seven. She is hateful, violent, dangerous, and knows a lot about how social media works. She uses technology to garner influence and get whatever she wants.
Stormfront is a bit dangerous like Homelander (Anthony Starr), the leader of The Seven. Both of them have different opinions about certain things and they tend to clash. The series will further explore their relationship and we'll see whether they end up being friends or foe.
One of the biggest things that should be addressed here is how the aftermath of episode 3 affects the position of Homelander within The Seven. He's the one who leads the team in every mission and he enjoyed a lot of publicity over the past years.
But, Stormfront shows up in the picture and steals the spotlight from him. Now, she enjoys the media attention, which was often reserved for Homelander. It seems like a dangerous rivalry will develop between them moving forward.
As for what else is coming in The Boys season 2 episode 4, Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Starlight's (Erin Moriarty) relationship might be explored, as well. The trust each other to some extent, though this is quite ironic since a previous betrayal defined them.
Starlight is determined to bring down Vought, that's why she exposed the secret about Compound V to the world. However, things get even more complicated because of this as The Seven is focused on finding out who outed this secret.
Meanwhile, there's also a story coming for Ryan (Cameron Cravetti), Homelander and Becca's (Shantel VanSanten) son. A lot of exciting things are coming here, especially since Butcher (Karl Urban) is out there seeking revenge.
Also, the encounter with Starlight and Homelander brought Hugh (Simon Pegg) back to the world. However, the most concerning thing about him is that he's not in the right state after surviving a dangerous situation. MM (Laz Alonso) might be right that Hugh will not make it until the end.
