Prince Harry and Meghan Markle struck a multiyear deal with Netflix. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to produce films, documentaries, and children’s shows for the streaming giant.

Now, royal fans are urging Queen Elizabeth to remove Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s titles over their Netflix deal. One even said that the Duke of Sussex should be given an ultimatum.

In a poll created by Express, the majority of voters believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should be stripped of their Duke and Duchess titles after they signed a contract with Netflix. Ninety-six percent agreed and just four percent of the voters said the couple still deserve to keep their titles.

"Consequences. They still haven't learned that actions have consequences. Like children, but worse,” one commented. "At this rate, Harry should be given an ultimatum - renounce your titles and remove yourself from the line of succession or be stripped of it," another one shared, adding that the Duke of Sussex will not get this deal without his royal family background.

Royal fans are hoping that the overwhelming result of the poll will push Queen Elizabeth to make a very important decision. Her Majesty, the Palace, and the Royal Family members have not officially addressed anything regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal as of this writing.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced earlier this year that they would be stepping down from their senior royal roles to focus more on their family and charities. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also noted that they wish to be “financially independent” as they start their new life outside the Royal family. The couple also agreed to not be funded by the Sovereign Grant anymore.

However, reports revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still receive funds from Prince Charles and the Duchy of Cornwall. According to the CEO of the anti-monarchist group Republic, this should not be the case.

Graham Smith pointed out that the U.K. doesn’t owe Meghan Markle and Prince Harry a penny. He also rejected the Duchess of Sussex’s claim that her royal wedding provided an economic boost for Britain, noting that there is no evidence to back-up her declaration.

The Republic's CEO believes that it’s actually the other way around. He said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s 2018 wedding was a "net-loss" for U.K. taxpayers.
