Rihanna's fans can't help but be triggered when they saw the singer's photos with a bruised face and expressed their concern about RiRi. The singer's rep assured that there is nothing to worry about as Rihanna is doing okay and her injuries were from an accident on an electric scooter.

Rihanna was recently spotted picking up a take-out order at a restaurant in Los Angeles. But what caught the attention of many was the bruises on her face. TMZ shared a couple of photos of the "Diamonds" singer and it showed a swelling on her face as well as a black eye.

Apparently, the singer tried to keep a low profile as she wore sunglasses when the restaurant staff brought out her food. Paparazzi managed to take photos of her bruises when Rihanna removed her eyeglasses.

Fans first thought the singer got involved in some kind of physical altercation. Her rep, however, clarified to People Magazine that it wasn't the case.

RiRi's rep said the 32-year-old Fenty Beauty founder had an e-scooter accident last week. She, apparently, sustained bruises on her forehead and face after she flipped over while riding an e-scooter. The "Work" singer didn't have major injuries and she is quickly healing now.

It wasn't surprising that Rihanna's Navy was triggered by photos of her with a swollen face. It brought them back to the time when the "Umbrella" hitmaker was first seen with a bruised face. It was before the 2009 Grammy Awards when her then-boyfriend Chris Brown assaulted her.

Fans of the singer were relieved that her injuries were not from a physical altercation but still worried about her. This is because Rihanna wasn't the only celebrity who got injured due to an e-vehicle accident.

Last month, Simon Cowell had a scary e-bike accident. The America's Got Talent judge sustained back injuries and he underwent six-hour surgery because of it.

Meanwhile, the anticipation that Rihanna would be releasing a new album this year hasn't subsided even though the singer already said she won't rush the release of her ninth album just because people are waiting for it. In her July interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna said she is working on her music and she will release an album when she's ready

She assured her fans that her next album will be worth their long wait. Rihanna also teased in another interview that she is making a reggae album.
