It seems like Katie Holmes has finally moved on from Jamie Foxx. The Dawson's Creek actress was spotted recently hanging out with a chef in New York City.

Holmes has been linked with several actors after her relationship with Foxx ended last year. But this the first time that she was seen spending time with a man in a public place.

TMZ shared a couple of photos of Katie and the mysterious man while sharing a meal at the Mediterranean restaurant Antique Garage in Manhattan. Holmes was sporting a tank top and jeans, while her companion was wearing a white shirt and jeans.

It looked like the two had a great time as they were photographed laughing together. In one of the photos, Holmes was seen reaching her hand to the man.

As soon as the photos were shared online, fans asked who is the new beau in Katie Holmes' life. It turned out that he is Emilio Vitolo Jr., a known chef in NYC.

The 33-year-old chef works at their family-owned Emilio's Ballato restaurant in SoHo. His father is Italian while his mother is Peruvian. His father, Emilio Vitolo Sr., bought Emilio's Ballato in the early '90s. The Vitolo couple, along with their three sons worked seven-day-a-week at the restaurant, were several celebrities frequently spotted.

In his interview with InStyle earlier this year, Emilio Jr. shared some advice to those who are thinking about opening up a restaurant business. He said the business owner has to be committed and be there all the time to run the day-to-day operation of the business.

Vitolo is not only a chef/restaurateur. He is also an actor. He previously appeared in medical drama Royal Pains and Inside Amy Schumer. Emilio also has a lot of celebrity friends, including Whoopi Goldberg, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Danny de Vito, and the rest of the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

It is unknown how long Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo Jr. have known each other. But, based on the photos taken during their day out, it seemed like they have been friends for quite sometime now. In July, Vitolo also commented on one of Holmes photos on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Holmes earlier told Entertainment Tonight that she has been spending quarantine with her daughter Suri Cruise since the coronavirus pandemic started. The Batman Begins actress said she hasn't seen many of her friends in person for a long time because of COVID-19. It looked like her dine out with Vitolo was one of her first outings since the coronavirus pandemic started.
