Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's marriage is, undoubtedly, one for the books. They have been together since 1997. But, rumors have it the 58-year-old actor is jealous of his wife being too friendly with other guys.
A report made by the National Enquirer a few years back claimed Broderick was jealous of the 55-year-old actress's friendship with Andy Cohen. The 52-year-old talk show host and Parker herself, allegedly, made him feel like he was the third wheel in their marriage.
A source told the tabloid that, whenever Parker would get an invite to a big event, Cohen wanted to be her date. This would leave Broderick behind, staying at home with their kids.
Besides going with Cohen, another tabloid, OK!, claimed Parker was caught getting cozy with a "mystery" guy in Italy. When the Sex and the City star went out with friends, they were joined by a mysterious man, who sat right next to her.
Gossip Cop debunked these dubious claims about Parker. The publication seemed to use Parker and Cohen's habit to attend the Met Gala together against them. The only reason Broderick was not with them was that he wasn't interested at these events.
Cohen is friends with the couple. So, there may be no reason for him not to accompany Parker and make Broderick think of anything wrong. Broderick's rep even confirmed there is no drama going on with the three. He is just the man who is not interested in dressing up.
Regarding the mysterious guy, Gossip Cop revealed that the mysterious guy was part of Parker's circle of friends at the time. It also insisted that she never got too cozy with this man when they went out and about.
Whatever the rumors are about Parker and Broderick, they remain to have the best of relationship. Recently, they were seen enjoying another beach getaway in the Hamptons, Metro News noted.
The two had fun under the sun, taking advantage of the good weather. The Hocus Pocus star donned a classic black swimsuit while getting her perfect tan. Broderick, alternatively, looked casual in his grey shirt and green board shorts.
They were joined by a friend who sat and talked to them under the umbrella. At one point, Parker seemed to look out into the ocean before she got up and called out in the distance. This scene only proved that there was no issue happening between Parker and Broderick.
