Manchester United appeared to be working silently to bring Jadon Sancho back to the Premier League. Talks between the Red Devils and the England international are said to be moving forward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side is all set to welcome the young winger when he lands to Old Trafford soon.

Sancho donning the United shirt soon got a boost as fresh reports indicated that negotiations between the two sides are continuing and significant gains have been achieved though specific details were not yet known.

An intermediary is playing a vital role in the transfer deal, and according to Goal, United seemed optimistic that a deal is nearing completion. The ongoing dialogue has been described as "constructive" so far and hope are high that an agreement will be reached before the summer transfer window closes in early October.

Notably, the latest report runs in counter with the position taken by Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga side has been saying in recent weeks that the deal on Sancho will only proceed on the specific terms earlier laid out. The Germans have been asking a full payment of £108 million and provided no provision for a discount, despite the financial constraints caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

United, however, will continue to seek a compromise, hence the efforts to discuss terms with Sancho through a person that all parties can trust. It is believed that the Premier League giants are ready to offer a proposal that hopefully would be acceptable to Dortmund chiefs.

According to Metro, a package has been prepared that will essentially meet the demands made by the German club for Sancho's release. The offer includes a transfer payment of £90 million for the 20-year-old to play for United starting next season.

United will also commit to be paying the balance of £18 million but the money will be sent in tranches, possibly over the next three seasons.

The report mentioned as well that Sancho has said yes on the deal that will make him the most expensive English transfer in history. And his lucrative contract will entitle him to a weekly payment of £250,000.

The only missing element of the deal is the explicit approval from Dortmund, which is seen as essential for the agreement to be finalized. While Sancho has expressed his intention to return to the Premier League in the upcoming campaign, he also made clear that the absence of an amicable deal will make him stay with the German side, where he is tied up until 2023.

Sancho has been a primary target of Solskjaer for months and the Norwegian manager is a huge fan of the Bundesliga sensation's technical and goalscoring abilities.
