Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just moved into their new multimillion-dollar home in California with their son, Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to the U.S. after officially stepping down from their senior royal roles at the end of March.

But according to a royal expert, Prince Harry may be planning to return to the U.K. despite his and Meghan Markle’s recent move to Montecito. ITV Royal Rota podcast host Lizzie Robinson believes that the Duke of Sussex could go back home as early as next year.

"Presumably he is coming over to Europe for next year's Invictus Games. They're still going ahead in the Hague in the Netherlands. You would expect to see him there, but I guess everything is still up in the air,” she said.

Lizzie Robinson pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s initial plan was to split their time between the U.K. and the U.S. However, the idea was quickly turned down by senior royals.

After announcing their decision, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s website stated that they would “carve out a progressive new role” and “adjust their working model.” But after their discussion with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William, it was decided that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would completely step back from royal duties as of last spring.

And even though the couple will still be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they can “no longer formally represent” Queen Elizabeth in their new lives. Also, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not only lose their HRH titles, but Prince William’s brother will lose his military titles as well.

Before their withdrawal announcement, it has been heavily speculated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were feuding with the Royal Family. However, royal fans are still hoping that they will make amends, and everything will be okay.

Unfortunately, many were not too happy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s speech on the Commonwealth back in July, where they acknowledged their past. Royal commentator Dan Wootton spoke to one royal fan, who was clearly frustrated with the couple, especially the Duke of Sussex, and wanted them to lose their titles.

The caller, Alison in Lichfield, pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should do their best to patch things up with the Royal Family. She said that the Duke of Sussex is "destroying everything that made him a success."
