Lovecraft Country episode 6 is coming this weekend on HBO, with the title "Meet Me In Daegu." There are only a few details about this week's episode. But, it will likely pick up some of the events that happened in the previous one. Fans are going to see the characters continue with their journey.

Lovecraft Country episode 6 has no official synopsis as of this writing, but the episode is written by Kevin Lau and Misha Green. HBO is likely keeping important details under wraps. Yet, the story will continue to find a way to deliver something that's all about history mixed with something supernatural.

Perhaps, this week's episode could further address the shocking turn of event in episode 5. The series could finally explore the biggest mysteries this season: who is Ji-ah (Jamie Chung)? She is a naïve nurse, but it's clear there's more to her that wasn't shown yet.

It seems like something may have happened between her and Atticus (Jonathan Majors) in Korea. Ji-ah was first introduced in episode 1. At the time, Atticus had been dreaming about a sci-fi world, in which his time in the war was mixed with the stories he's been reading.

Ji-ah appeared in the form of Princess of Mars but Atticus woke up from his dream. Then, the second time she showed up was when he was in Ardham. When he's caught in a nightmare trance, he believed that she's trying to kill him.

Ji-ah's existence was confirmed tough a call between her and Atticus, where she told him that he never should've left. Lovecraft Country episode 6 could offer some answers as to why she warned him against returning home and what else she knows about him.

What's interesting here is that the story doesn't exist in Matt Ruff's 2016 novel of the same name. This is a new territory that will be explored moving forward. This latest mystery about Atticus' past suggests that something more happened to him while he's away from home.

Apart from this storyline, it's also interesting to see what will happen to Ruby (Wunmi Mosaku). She found out that Christina (Abbey Lee) uses the same potion to turn herself into William (Jordan Patrick Smith). Since the secret is out, Christina could tell Ruby what's in the basement.

Lovecraft Country episode 6 airs on Sunday, Sept. 20, on HBO.
