Lovecraft Country episode 4 is coming this weekend on HBO, with the title "A History of Violence." The title is seemingly a reference from the movie of the same name, hinting where some of the characters are heading moving forward.

Things could get even more intense and exciting in Lovecraft Country episode 4. Most of the characters have gone through heartaches and a lot of chaos. But, aside from that, they continue to deal with the supernatural events -- which is one of the central themes of the series.

Atticus (Jonathan Majors), Leti (Jurnee Smollett), and Montrose (Michael K. Williams) started to believe that what happened in Ardham stays in Ardham. However, Christina Braithwhite (Abbey Lee) suddenly walks back in their lives.

Christina urged Leti to buy the Winthrop House to serve her secret nefarious plans. But then, it turns out that the former wants something inside that house and we're going to see her doing something within this week's episode.

Atticus blew Christina's cover after following her to the realtor who suggested Leti buy the property. Since there's no point in staying in the shadow now, Christina could directly use Leti. She'll possibly enlighten her about the house's history and asked her to search for stolen pages of the Book of Names.

Lovecraft Country episode 4, also, sees Hippolyta (Aunjanue Ellis) digging deeper into the mystery surrounding her husband's death. She is aware that Atticus, Leti, and Montrose are keeping things from her. Now, she needs to figure out why they chose to lie to her.

In addition, Hippolyta came across a beautiful orrery while exploring Leti's house. This is something that went missing after the white boys broke into the house. Moreover, she took the orrery from the haunted house which means the ghost might have followed her home.

Meanwhile, the ratings of the Lovecraft Country are performing well each passing week. In fact, the second episode, reportedly, drew to 870,000 live viewers -- which is a significant increase from the premiere. The series was able to retain its audience and gain new ones from one week to the next.

Lovecraft Country episode 4 airs on Sunday, Sept. 6, on HBO. Also, the series can be watched on the official website of HBO, HBO Max, or HBO Go App. For non-cable subscribers, the series can be streamed by subscribing to the HBO package on Amazon Prime.
