Conor McGregor is no stranger to controversy although he has been quiet as of late. The UFC star remains retired but it appears his knack of getting in trouble remains. And based on his recent social medial posts, it appears his recent row has hit him hard.

McGregor is embroiled in a new row after allegedly showing off his manhood to a married woman at a bar toilet on the holiday island Corsica. France 3 Corse was able to talk to one of the friends close to the victim that led to the arrest of the Irish mixed martial arts fighter.

McGregor has been released but not completely off the hook. An examination of the key physical tests and the examination of the film is underway, a critical phase which could see the former UFC champion re-arrested once more due to sexual assault and indecent exposure.

As narrated by the victim, McGregor had allegedly showed off his manhood and then assaulted her after a heavy drinking session in the upmarket port town of Calvi last Sept. 6. Per her statement, the 32-year-old fighter showed off his private parts without her consent and ended up shocked. However, the part where McGregor actually assaulted the woman needs to be confirmed, something likely to be determined from the ongoing investigations.

And while that is ongoing, McGregor created quite a stir when he put up a series of disturbing tweets tied up to the issue. Part of his tweets read:

“Suicide intervention yet ridiculing me in this manner online, at this horrendous time in my life,” he tweeted. “I am trying to stay strong for my kids and the people that rely on me and that love and support me. Thanks for the insults, hypocrite.”

Aside from that, he also posted: “I can’t go on like this man. I am crushed here.”

The tweets have since been put down although some were able to take screenshots of his posts.

According to talkSPORT, McGregor was supposed to participate in a 180K marathon endurance alongside Princess Charlene of Monaco. The race was part of a bid to raise awareness of water safety. McGregor pulled out from the event that began a couple of days ago.

Some of McGregor’s representatives told TMZ that The Notorious has denied any misconduct or wrongdoing. Regardless, UFC president Dana White all of this stems from the Irishman’s kind of lifestyle.
