Prince Harry is reportedly taking online classes in preparation for his work with Netflix and he's looking at director Ron Howard's rise in Hollywood for inspiration.

Friends revealed to Daily Mirror that Prince Harry recently finished a five-day "creative producing lab" course online. The Duke of Sussex is apparently in a "creative headspace" and is determined to work hard in Hollywood even if he has to start from the bottom.

Sources said that the Duke of Sussex would like to emulate Howard's career trajectory. The award-winning director of Apollo 13 started as a child actor and supporting cast in many productions to rise up the ranks and be an award-winning filmmaker.

The friend added that Harry doesn't want to stand in the shadow of his wife, Meghan Markle, as they build a new career behind the camera. The Duchess of Sussex has been working in Hollywood as an actress for nearly a decade before she met Prince Harry.

But more importantly, the Duke of Sussex is trying to learn about producing to prove one thing to his family. Apparently, Harry does not want to simply use his name and status to get ahead.

Apart from taking a producer's course, the royal also plans to take a masterclass in making documentary films. According to the source, Prince Harry wants to learn the "truth and ethics" of producing documentaries.

In early September, Prince Harry and Meghan signed a multimillion production deal with Netflix, where they plan to make exclusive shows and movies in scripted and documentary formats. According to the press release, the Sussex pair wants to highlight a diverse production that will "shine the light" on people and causes that they care about.

One planned documentary will apparently focus on Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement. Meghan feels it's a privilege to be able to tell Cullors' lifestory and accomplishments under the Sussex couple's production outfit.

The Sussex pair are also looking to produce a TV series for children, which will touch on themes like empowerment and racial equality. There are also speculations that Harry and Meghan might do a documentary about Princess Diana to honor her legacy.

Insiders told The Sun that the development of this film is in the early stages. However, royal observers said that this could ignite the feud between Harry and Prince William, who are both protective of their mother's legacy. Prince Harry and Meghan have not issued comments on the rumors about their upcoming projects with Netflix.
