BTS Jimin just became the first Korean artist with two songs to exceed 100 million streams on Spotify.

According to a report by All Kpop, Jimin's solo track "Serendipity Full Length Edition" surpassed 100 million streams on the music platform on September 20 .

It can be recalled that the track was released on August 24, 2018 as part of BTS' album Love Yourself: Answer. ARMYs loved the song because of its message of finding love unexpectedly. The song was even chosen by fans as the song that reminded them of Jimin the most.

Jimin's record-breaking streak on Spotify first began when his solo song "Lie" surpassed 100 million streams on the platform last April 27, 2020. After his second song hit 100 million streams, fans took to social media to congratulate their "baby mochi" by using the hashtags #SerendipityFull100M and #RecordMakerJimin. Both tags became trending topics on Korean social media within a few hours.

Even as fans celebrate Jimin's new accomplishment, they could not help but fall for his charms once again after an interview or BTS members sharing their ideal types, resurfaced. Based on the clip, Jimin admitted that he was partial to cute girls. He made fans' hearts flutter even more when he added that he liked girls who were also a bit silly. ARMYs were even more charmed after seeing that the video was taken years ago, Koreaboo reported.

Nowadays, Jimin is the one who is advising newbies in the business like I-LAND's new Kpop group.

During BTS and TXT's appearance in the final episode of the show, Jimin imparted a precious piece of advice to the idol trainees who will debut as ENYPHEN.

According to Jimin, the most important thing that the new idols should remember is to never forget the fans and to always love their members. Jimin added that the rookie idols should always be thankful for their job and to love their profession.

Jimin further gave words of encouragement, not just to Yang Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Niki, Lee Heeseung, Park Sunghoon, and Kim Sunoo, but other trainees who did not make the final cut. He said that they should never lose hope and continue to work towards the achievement of their dreams, Republic World reported.

It can be recalled that, in the early days of their career, BTS members had to live in a small apartment and record music in a garage. It took years before they achieved global success and became worldwide superstars.

Apart from international recognition, the members are also poised to become part owners of Big Hit Entertainment when the company opens for initial public offering.
