The Brooklyn Nets are bringing in new coach Steve Nash to lead the way for the next season campaign and this early, the NBA legend already knows how to play his game to win the title in his rookie year. The focus will be on team superstars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, and Nash can only promise excitement.

Appearing in a podcast with J.J. Reddick, Nash said the present Nets roster gets his mind going on how to turn things around in Brooklyn. It's not only the pair of KD and Irving that makes his juice running, the other talents such as Caris LeVert, DeAndre Jordan, Jarrett Allen, and Joe Harris convinced Nash that he is on to something big.

But of course, the two superstars will dominate how things will be playing for Brooklyn in the upcoming campaigns. Irving, for instance, will be allowed to do what he does best - he will handle the ball and he has the license to bring the rubber to the rim at every opportunity.

As for Durant, Fadeaway World said the new Nets coach intends to make full use of the two-time Finals MVP's incredible basketball talents. Nash said KD is the best NBA player around in terms of versatility and that he will exploit to the hilt.

"Kevin, with his length, is a matchup problem for everyone ... Kevin can play all five positions, and I plan to use him in all five positions," the first-time bench tactician was reported as saying.

Nash has expressed hope that his working with Durant and the rest of the Nets players will lead to something great for the Brooklyn organization. The likelihood is high KD will hit it off quickly with the new man in charge given they have a good history while with the Golden State Warriors.

Nash's optimism stands on solid ground as well. He is getting a team that is not only solid but was built-up to win. NBC Sports said the new coach will start on his career bolstered by a Nets roster that can win championships.

And it's a good thing that as a newbie, Nash is willing to experiment - to check if the plans on his mind will work in actual games. It will be smart for the new coach to test what combination will deliver the best result and hope that the gamble will earn him a ticket to the playoffs.

Durant and Irving are clear on one thing when they signed up for the Nets. They want to prove they are title winners on their own and having Nash around could make it easier for the two superstars to make their case.
