BTS is the biggest boy group on the planet right now and their success is unstoppable. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have already reached the superstardom status, but they are not done yet.

In fact, BTS worked even harder instead of taking a break. The boys see their worldwide success as an opportunity to perform in more places and share their music. But, the coronavirus pandemic happened.

Months before the outbreak, BTS already prepared themselves for a world tour. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were on the top of their game and wanted to keep the momentum going.

However, BTS was forced to cancel their tour for everyone’s safety. Even though they understood the emergency protocol, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook couldn’t help but feel sad and upset that their plans were put on hold.

BTS recently spoke on the 75th UN General Assembly. Despite their success, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook let the viewers know that they also have struggles like everyone else.

Jimin shared that he watched BTS’ well-laid plans crumble during the pandemic. The “Filter” singer admitted to feeling “hopeless” because of the unfortunate situation.

“I felt hopeless. Everything fell apart. I could only look outside my window. I could only go to my room. Yesterday, I was singing and dancing with fans around the world, and now my world had shrunk to a room,” he said. (Watch the clip here).

Even though Suga noted that their world shrinking from a stadium to a room is not that unusual, V pointed out that it’s a lot “lonelier” and “smaller” this time. But then the “Sweet Night” singer shared that despite feeling “frustrated” and “depressed,” he took the sudden time off to write songs and reflect on who he was.

BTS didn’t let the pandemic keep them down too long, and decided to look on the positive side. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have never forgotten to consider their fans during the crisis as well. In fact, the boys created “Dynamite” in an effort to comfort ARMYs all around the world, who are having a tough time.

In return, ARMYs gave BTS their first song to debut at No. 1 on Billboard‘s “Hot 100” chart. “Dynamite” stayed on the top spot for two consecutive weeks, becoming the 20th song in history to have remained on top in its second week following a No. 1 debut.
