The Los Angeles Lakers, bannered by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, are favorites to win the championship this season and they can do the same in the campaigns to come. The tandem of King James and AD is already formidable but what if Giannis Antetokounmpo will join in the fun. It will be a juggernaut.

But first, why the Milwaukee Bucks will let go of a premium asset like Antetokounmpo? He is a certified superstar and two-time MVP. The Greek Freak is touted to win more of the honor in the years to come and perhaps NBA rings while with the Bucks. The latter, however, is a big if.

Antetokounmpo's crew had a good shot to win the NBA championship since last season but ran short on steam. The best explanation for the disappointments, according to Fadeaway World, is the lack of superior talents. Sure, the Bucks boast of a superstar in Antetokounmpo then Khris Middleton is an All-Star level but the greatness stops there.

Soon enough, Antetokounmpo is likely to realize that placing his bet on Milwaukee is not wise. He has to look elsewhere to achieve greater glory in the NBA. And the right now, the most compelling choice for the 25-year-old would be the Lakers.

That's mainly because the Lakers have the duo of James and Davis, and it's hard to argue that these two are on top of the food chain in the NBA. Antetokounmpo working with the two would be the most blockbuster setup that the basketball world will see.

"The Lakers with Giannis, quite frankly, would be the most unstoppable team in history," said the same report.

The boost on the Lakers offense is quite obvious. Antetokounmpo is a player who can rain down the points in any given game and him doing that with the LA camp would be just unbelievable. Also, Davis and Antetokounmpo taking charge of the team's defense will lead to a mighty wall meeting the opposing team. To say that the Lakers would be impossible to defeat is an understatement.

Now the leader of this Lakers superteam is no doubt The King, and he will be playing that role in the next few years. James remains a dominant force in the league. He is a prolific scorer and he makes sure that his teammates are involved, underscoring the fact that the four-time MVP is also an effective playmaker.

Just how good James is as a player? According to Insider, Kevin Durant has the opinion that James is the rightful winner of the MVP award this season. KD said the numbers favored Antetokounmpo but in the grand scheme of things, what James does for his side lead to tangible results, an NBA title for instance.

In any case, the Bucks faced with Antetokounmpo demanding a trade have no choice but to capitalize on the circumstances. If the Lakers would be the trading partner, Milwaukee must make sure they get Kyle Kuzma in return as the player will be the team's best going forward.
