If Kate Middleton and Prince William had their way, they would not leave for London but stay put in Anmer Hall permanently. A royal expert said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were sad to leave their life in isolation to resume their in-person royal engagements this fall.

Katie Nicholl spoke with OK! Magazine and revealed that Kate and Prince William were quite emotional when they returned to London after more than six months of living at their country estate in Norfolk. They knew, however, that their life needs to be back to normal with the kids attending school at Thomas's Battersea this September but Kate has apparently been longing for the bonding times they've had while in isolation.

The royal expert said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were able to enjoy their freedom, space and privacy in Norfolk during the lockdown. Kate was the happiest in her jeans while doing activities with her three kids -- George, Charlotte and Louis.

Nicholl said that the Cambridges haven't experienced six months of just being a family together in such a long while because of their busy royal schedules. They've had plenty of time to bake, explore the outdoors and tend to the garden while at Anmer Hall that the children will surely never forget the experience.

However, life at London isn't all that unbearable even as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have to divide their time between their kids and their royal duties. Recently, the family had a special guest in Kensington Palace. Naturalist Sir David Attenborough visited them for a special outdoor screening backyard of his new documentary at the palace's backyard. Prince William describes as a natural treasure while Kate once said that her most favorite person in the world is Attenborough.

Kate and Prince William introduced Attenborough to their children, who are his biggest fans. The environmentalist brought a special gift for Prince George, who was photographed marveling at the giant shark tooth

Meanwhile, rumors have been rife that Kate could be pregnant with her fourth child after having all those free time during the lockdown, according to royal correspondent Phil Dampier. Royal fans on Facebook also could not help but comment on the Duchess of Cambridge's glowing face for their photos with Attenborough. The fans also said that Kate constantly placed her hand on her stomach during that outdoor event, prompting more speculations that she might be with a child.
