The Boys season 2 episode 7 is set to arrive this week on Amazon Prime Video, with the title "Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker". There is a huge story coming for Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and it is something that could put her in real danger.
In the latest promo of The Boys season 2 episode 7, Starlight finds herself in a very difficult situation. Her allegiance to Hughie (Jack Quaid) has put her in a dangerous spot. Homelander (Antony Starr) and Stormfront (Aya Cash) announced in the public that she's a traitor and a mole in The Seven.
Starlight faces a new problem because of this. Homelander is loved by many, while Stormfront is the master of manipulation. Now that they know Starlight betrayed them, these two could do something to teach her a lesson. After all, both of them are the dangerous members of The Seven.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode also sees Hughie and Lamplighter (Shawn Ashmore) encountering a lot of troubles while going on an operation. Their current mission requires the latter's connection to The Seven and the Supe world in a big way.
The Boys season 2 episode 7 could see a Homelander origin story, as well. While some of it has been explored in the past, there are still a lot of questions as to why and how he became who he is right now. We could learn more about him and some secrets might be uncovered.
Also, it seems like Homelander wants to be more involved with his son's, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), life. The promo showed him introducing Stormfront as his girlfriend. He is planning to take his son away from his mother, Becca (Shantel VanSanten).
The idea of Homelander starting a family with Ryan and Stormfront is dangerous. The latter successfully found a way to manipulate him and she can control him now. Stormfront knows what Homelander desires, and she could use this on her advantage to get everything that she wants.
The situation makes Becca helpless since she doesn't have any powers. Dealing with these two is dangerous, given that they're the most powerful members of The Seven. Homelander is, particularly, delusional about becoming a parent. He'll do whatever it takes to get his son and start a family with Stormfront.
The Boys season 2 episode 7 will be airing on Friday, Oct. 2, on Amazon Prime Video.
