BLACKPINK's Jennie became the first Korean female artist to get an MV certification from QQ Music, China's biggest music platform.

According to a report by All Kpop, Jennie received a gold certification from QQ Music last September 29 because of her solo track called "SOLO."

Jennie's certification was a major achievement because she was only the second foreign artist to receive an accolade, next to Taylor Swift.

This was not the first time for Jennie's "SOLO" to receive a major achievement. In July, the BLACKPINK member became the first female Kpop solo artist to breach the 500 million views milestone on YouTube, Soompi reported.

On July 28, Jennie's "SOLO" surpassed 500 million views and it took only 1 year, eight months, and 15 days to achieve.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently preparing for their final comeback, which will happen on October 2. BLACKPINK is expected to cap off their major comeback year with the release of their first full album titled BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM.

With the release of the full tracklist, it was revealed that the album will contain a total of eight songs, including the previously released "How You Like That" and "Ice Cream."

YG Entertainment released the teaser video of BLACKPINK's title track "Lovesick Girls," two days before the album's release.

Based on the teaser video, BLACKPINK will once again deliver a youthful and funky vibe for the title track. The video also employs an edgy and stylish approach with the members rocking grunge outfits. The track also seems like the next big anthem song of 2020.

BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM is the first time for Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose to release a full album since they have been limited to mini albums and EPs since their debut.

BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM will feature tracks like "Pretty Savage," "Crazy Over You," "Love To Hate Me," "You Never Know," in addition to "Bet You Wanna," a collaboration with American rapper Cardi B, Billboard reported.

The American rapper recently teased that the collab with BLACKPINK will be amazing. She even tweeted the monicker "Bardipink in your area" along with a long string of emoticons to hype up the new music. Another thing that caught the attention of fans was songwriting credits for Jennie and Jisoo as well as production credits for DJ David Guetta.

BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM  will also include the pre-release track, "How You Like That," which smashed records when it dropped in June. BLACKPINK's collaboration with Selena Gomez for "Ice Cream" will also be featured.
