British Royals have continued to do virtual engagements these past few months. While she is no longer a working royal, Meghan Markle has, also, taken several video conference calls in recent weeks.
It appears that she has "adopted" a "personal uniform" for her engagements, according to 9Honey. Based on her virtual appearances, she has maintained to wear versions of a "classic wardrobe staple," which is a buttoned-down collared top.
The publication recalled the Duchess of Sussex's recent engagements. Last week, she made two television appearances for the TIME magazine broadcast and the finale of America's Got Talent.
In both instances, Meghan Markle wore two versions of button-downs in two shades of brown. For her appearance in the magazine's broadcast, she donned a Victoria Beckham chocolate brown silk top. She, reportedly, completed the look with a simple pair of black trousers.
The following night, she made a surprise appearance on the reality competition show. She dusted off a similar top in a camel tone with black leather pants.
Prior to her recent video calls, the Duchess made an appearance, as well, for Fortune magazine's summit. In the event, she chose to wear a different color of a collared shirt.
The publication claimed that the navy and white top appears to be a similar version of what she wore at the Wimbledon tennis championship in 2018, where she joined Kate Middleton to watch the men's final.
The same report, later on, deemed Meghan Markle's style as "business casual done to perfection." Sources pointed out, however, that this has been her go-to fashion choices for years. As stated, she made several royal engagements in the past, wearing the same style of shirt.
The Duchess of Sussex seemingly has a "go-to," as well, for her hairstyle. Cheat Sheet previously reported that she does not wear many "wild up-dos" even on red carpet events. In most cases, Meghan Markle goes for either a loose wavy style or an "effortless-looking" bun.
Over the years, the public has, reportedly, looked up to different British Royals for style inspirations. But, in recent times, they have likely preferred Meghan Markle's and Kate Middleton's fashion pieces the most. Some even stated that they became some of today's fashion icons.
Despite being pitted against each other by media and press, they, reportedly, have one thing in common, which is the fact that many people admire them for their beauty and fashion sense. Several stylists and fashion experts, also, at times, commend both the Duchesses for their iconic looks and appearances.
