There is little doubt that the members of VICTON are comfortable enough to work on their own solo efforts while also coming up with awesome content along with the rest of the group for their fans. For instance, both Seungwoo and Byungchan participated in Produce X 101 although only Han Seungwoo made it to the final line-up.
Interestingly, it looks like 2020 will be the year when Hanse sets out to work on a major solo project. Do Hanse has just confirmed that his first mixtape is currently in the works and could be released soon.
It's no secret that Hanse is the one member of VICTON who is fully capable of making his own music. The main rapper is credited for writing the lyrics in almost every song in the group's discography. In addition to that, Do Hanse has previously released a self-composed song "Hallelujah" back in 2019. With that in mind, fans believe that Hanse has what it takes to produce a solo effort.
Not surprisingly, that's exactly what Hanse has been up to for the past few months. The rapper took to his official Instagram account to make an announcement about his first mixtape.
"Hey, guys I'm working on it, for my 1st Mixtape," Hanse wrote before adding, "I don't know when it'll be released.. but i'll do my best." Interestingly, the VICTON member also added a hilarious side note about his regular posts on the social media platform. "Just because I do Instagram a lot, it doesn't mean I'm always playing," Hanse wrote.
The surprise announcement immediately had VICTON fans excited. However, some Alice were also a little skeptical about the post considering that Hanse is known for making jokes. Nevertheless, everyone is now looking forward to an official announcement from the group's company PlayM Entertainment.
Hanse recently celebrated his 23rd birthday by doing a VLive broadcast to interact with VICTON fans and to play some games. During the broadcast, he also called the other members so they could congratulate him and at one point, Byungchan joined him for the broadcast since the latter was not able to answer Hanse's call.
Amazingly, it was also revealed that the VICTON rapper received 33 cakes from Alice who wanted to congratulate Do Hanse on his special day. With that in mind, Hanse's upcoming first mixtape could be considered a gift to his fans who have loved and supported him throughout his career.
