SHINEE's Choi Minho shared some good news to the fans about his promotion as a sergeant.

According to a report by All Kpop, Minho posted his letter to SHINEE's SHINee World (Shawol) fandom, detailing his current status in the military.

Minho is serving as a member of the Marine Corps., which is one for the most challenging units in the military, known for its rigorous training and physical demands. In his letter, Minho greeted his fans as the seasons turned to autumn. He also asked if they were doing well and were staying healthy.

He told fans not to worry about his condition because he is doing well. He even joked he may be getting too healthy.

He shared that he became a great sergeant as he reached the final level of his service. He admitted that although he is met with more responsibilities because of his position, he is very happy and fulfilled to be training the juniors.

Minho said that he is glad to be able to share his experiences with the recruits. This also gave him a chance to reflect and look back on his early days as a trainee.

There are only a few months left before Minho completes his mandatory service. According to SBS Pop Asia, the Kpop idol is scheduled to be discharged in November. He will be the third SHINEE member to complete his mandatory service after leader Onew and Key.
