The beta of "League of Legends: Wild Rift" is currently on a break, and Riot Games utilized the downtime to explain the upcoming mobile game's ranked system.
Riot Games and "League Of Legends: Wild Rift" Game Designer Ed "MartianSpider" Knapp, recently shared in an official blog more information about the game's ranked system. For Ranked, Riot Games aims to make the game more welcoming to the next generation of players and minimize player pain.
The gaming studio would also like it easier for "League of Legends: Wild Rift" players to enjoy ranked with friends. Going into the finer details of the system, Knapp shared that the game will feature the same tiers as "LOL" PC, iRon, through Challenger with the inclusion of a new tier, Emerald.
This particular tier is between the Platinum and Diamond tier, and we made to enable 'broader skill distribution.' Any tier below Diamond uses the new Ranked Marks system, which is very easy and easy to keep track of. When a player wins a game, he earns a Ranked Mark, and losing the game is equivalent to losing a Ranked Mark.
Each tier in "League of Legends: Wild Rift" requires a certain number of Ranked Marks to climb the ladder with lower tiers requiring lesser Ranked Marks. Players below Diamond can fill up Ranked Fortitude. According to Riot Games, it protects players from occasional losses and rewards skilled play.
Ranked Fortitude could come in handy in "League of Legends: Wild Rift" because it is a team game. Oftentimes, regardless of how skilled a player you are, your best may not be enough to carry the team or each game. The game's Ranked system is also very useful for newcomers.

The ranked play could be frustrating, and Ranked Marks could benefit greenhorns on "League of Legends: Wild Rift." With the system, players could easily keep track of their rank. It also enables players to concentrate on individual achievement instead of the usual ladder leaderboard.
Riot Games also features the Victory Point (VP) for competitive "League of Legends: Wild Rift" players at Diamond tier and above. It is worth mentioning that "LOL: WIld Rift" is still in the works. While it appears that the game's core system is already in place, details could still change between now and at the game's launch.
