J-Hope is slowly taking Jungkook’s throne as the king of selling items out. It’s no secret that BTS is a walking advertisement as ARMYs would purchase anything they wear, eat, and more.

On October 6, BTS released the official trailer for its virtual merchandise store, BTS Pop-Up: MAP OF THE SOUL for their upcoming MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E online concert. The shop is loaded with BTS items such as hats, blankets, and bags.

Considering ARMYs all-out support in all ventures of BTS, many already predicted that their virtual shop would be a hit. But, sometimes, the fandom outdoes their expectations, as nobody expected that one of the items in BTS Pop-Up: MAP OF THE SOUL would sell out in a matter of minutes.

On October 7, J-Hope took to Twitter to share three selfies for ARMYs. The BTS rapper was sporting his usually funky outfit and completed his look with a mini bag from BTS Pop-Up: MAP OF THE SOUL.

There was no convincing needed for ARMYs to place an order on that mini bag. According to fans, the mini bag that J-Hope was wearing sold out in just ten minutes after he posted his tweet. The item, which is a preorder, is priced at $31.50.

This is not the first time J-Hope sold an item out in no time. On August 10, BTS released the first set of teaser images for their comeback single, “Dynamite.” In a matter of minutes, ARMYs sell out his “Obey” shirt. The $40 tee from Big Shot was the first item that fans purchased.

It is true when they say that everything BTS touches turn into gold. But, what made RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook different from other celebrities is that they don’t only wear high-end brands. They enjoy wearing all sorts of brands, including the local ones. On top of that, BTS is not like many idols when it comes to sponsorships.

BTS has been spotted wearing the most expensive outfits during events, music videos, airport fashion, and more, multiple times, but the boys reportedly don’t accept sponsorship deals because they don’t want to be controlled by these brands. In short, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook want to freely choose whatever they wear. But when it comes to their own merch, the boys are more than proud to flaunt them on social media.
