The public continues to scrutinize Melania Trump and Donald Trump's relationship. The talks about whether they are in a "loveless" marriage remain apparent today.

The Daily Express recalled an incident when the U.S. President went "savage" toward his wife. In an unearthed interview with Howard Stern more than a decade ago, he called her a "monster."

The then-real estate mogul told the celebrity host that the former model "has become a monster," adding that she was "like a blimp." Based on the flow of conversation, Trump made the remarks when he was talking about their first pregnancy. While he sent the "savage jibe" toward his wife, he countered that it was "in all the right places."

Melania Trump and Donald Trump had a lavish wedding event in 2005. A year later, they welcomed their son, Barron.

The shocking comments first became the talk of the town in 2016, when Trump was aiming for the seat in the Oval Office. It, once again, emerged a year later after the U.S. President relocated to the White House.

A source came forward at that time, claiming that the First Lady was the one who wanted a baby, according to Grazia. Reports followed suit, alleging that Melania agreed to a "contract" that she would get her body back after giving birth.

The source told Vanity Fair that she visited Donald and Melania Trump while the latter was pregnant with Barron. The article titled, Inside The Trump Marriage: Melania's Burden, states that the First Lady assured her husband that "everything would go back to the way it was" as the alleged insider said.

The allegations added that the U.S. President was "rude" to his wife, adding that he viewed the pregnancy as a thing that Melania wanted. There was no asking about how she feels, or even ensuring the safety of his wife.

Following all the claims, Melania Trump's now-Chief of Staff denied the assertions. Stephanie Grisham stated that Donald Trump was "supportive" and "very warm" throughout the pregnancy.

Despite putting the claims to rest, the speculations about the First Couple's marriage continue to develop. Earlier in September, a "former friend" of the First Lady wrote in her book, Melania and Me, that the couple has a "transactional relationship."

She, also, made several claims about the members of the First Family. Reports noted, though, that the material seemingly centers on the alleged feud between Melania and Ivanka Trump.
