MONSTA X Joohoney's latest mixtape topped iTunes charts in 16 different countries.

According to a report by Soompi, Joohoney's mixtape "PSYCHE" made it to the top of the iTunes Kpop album charts in countries like the US, France, Germany, Brazil, India, Mexico, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Sweden, Poland, Chile, Australia, and Denmark.

Joohoney's solo mixtape also fared well on the iTunes Top Albums charts. It hit No. 1 in Chile, Romania, India, and Finland. It also made it to the Top 10 in 15 different regions.

 It can be recalled that Joohoney released his mixtape PSYCHE last October 9 with the title track "SMOKY." The MONSTA X member dropped a pre-release track entitled "INTRO: Ambition" last October 7. The mixtape had five more songs including "PSYCHE", "DIA", "Dark and Cloudy", "King", and "Wingsuit."

Joohoney co-wrote the lyrics to all the tracks in the album and also took point in producing and composing the tracks.

In a recent interview, Joohoney said that writing music is something he does routinely. He said it allows him to express himself differently from when he is working in a team with his MONSTA X members. He said making his music helps him express the styles and colors of music.

He said that when he is working solo, he gets to explore different facets of music but when he is working with his members, he focuses on teamwork a lot and how he can make the team stronger.

Joohoney dropped his solo album ahead of MONSTA X's upcoming comeback entitled Fatal Love on November 2. MONSTA X recently announced their schedule for their album starting on October 14 for the Fantasia X film premiere, All Kpop reported.

The official tracklist will be released on October 20 and the different versions of the group's concept photos will be made available on the week of October 22 to 27. MONSTA X will finally reveal the teaser for their title track on October 29. Starship Entertainment will follow this up with an album preview on November 1.

Fatal Love will be released on November 2 and kick off MONSTA X's promotional activities. Starship Entertainment recently released the first concept photo for the album which showcases the members in a glittery yet grungy concept. The first photo shows the members posing in front of the camera with a foil backdrop wearing coordinated outfits.
