J-Hope is three years older than Jungkook. He, like the rest of the BTS members, loves treating the Golden Maknae as his baby brother.
But just because J-hope is older, that does not mean that he’s tougher. In fact, Jungkook is the bravest member of BTS when it comes to dealing with fears. He is a daredevil who can handle almost anything, such as bungee jumping, horror movies, and more. JH, on the other hand, is a self-proclaimed scaredy-cat.
Fortunately for J-Hope, he can always count on Jungkook to save him from his fears. And one of the “Ego” rapper’s mortal enemies are bugs, and he would instantly call for JK to protect him from them.
In one of the episodes of Bon Voyage, the members were busy preparing dinner, and then J-Hope suddenly spotted a bug and told Jungkook to deal with it. (Watch the clip here). Upon seeing the insect, JK grabbed a box and proceeded to eliminate JH’s mortal enemy. (Watch the clip here).
And on In The Soop, BTS ate dinner outside the upper house, where there were a lot of mosquitoes flying around. J-Hope was already scared before they started eating, but their fun discussion made him forget about the bugs.
But while J-Hope was laughing with the other members, an insect suddenly landed on his neck, and he immediately threw himself at Jungkook, who was sitting beside him. The 26-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer cried for JK to save him, but the latter didn’t move an inch and just smiled. (Watch the clip here).
Based on Jungkook’s reaction, this is something that happens on a daily with J-Hope. The “My Time” singer just sat there and didn’t attempt to save JH from his mortal enemy. It just goes to show how the Golden Maknae was so used to this scenario.
It was during this moment when Suga recalled he used to wonder during their trainee days if someone in the apartment below them was breeding mosquitoes. The boys tried so hard to get rid of them, but they were unsuccessful.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are rich enough to purchase their own multimillion-dollar homes, but they had to cramp up in a tiny, messy place, with a lot of mosquitoes before their success. The members then talked about RM, who is normally an animal and nature lover, taking out a flashlight to kill the mosquitoes.
