In the final episode of In The Soop, BTS shared their feelings, experiences, and realization during their seven-day vacation in the exclusive getaway. Suga opened up about the burden he feels because of the group’s reputation.
“You know how many excessive adjectives now go before the name, BTS? To be honest, it makes me feel burdened,” he said.
In the In The Soop, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook did almost everything themselves, including cooking and cleaning. They also did anything that they wanted, such as playing games, fishing, painting, and more. These are the things that Suga wanted people to see them. He wished that the viewers would watch and realize that they are just ordinary people like them.
BTS’ success has skyrocketed in recent years. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have broken records after records and even achieved some things that they were just dreaming about in the earlier years of their career.
While BTS is now living their dream, Suga couldn’t help but translate their accomplishment as a sense of responsibility. It seemed like the “Daechwita” rapper appreciated the fact that they were allowed to show more of their normal self to the public in In The Soop.
Suga’s revelation just shows that fame didn’t go to his head. Some successful celebrities don’t care about their responsibility as influential people, but the BTS rapper and the rest of his members are always mindful of what they offer to the public.
