V has the visuals that people would find hard to be real. ARMYs who are lucky enough to see BTS up-close shared that the “Sweet Night” singer’s good looks are on another level.

While extremely handsome idols can be intimidating, V balances his visuals with a cute personality. And because of that, Japanese ARMYs prefer to call the BTS star with a nickname that fits his adorable side.

One particular nickname for V is very popular in Japan. In fact, it is more common than his stage name. The BTS star’s real name is Taehyung, and Japanese ARMYs call him TaeTae.

Even Japanese celebrities use TaeTae to refer to V. When actor and model Takeuchi Ryoma talked about BTS, he called V with his cute nickname. He then proceeded to praise the “Singularity” singer and said that “his face is beautiful.”

When Japanese ARMYs ask each other’s favorite members in BTS, V-bias would say TaeTae instead of his stage name. Even South Korean actor and singer Park Bo-gum, who is friends with BTS, would call V TaeTae in a Japanese fan meeting. It seems like the Record of Youth star knew V’s nickname in Japan, so he used it to answer an inquiry.

One of the reasons why V is mostly known as TaeTae in Japan is because the Japanese people find it difficult to pronounce the letter “V.” But that’s definitely not the main reason why the BTS star got his nickname. Japanese are known for being fond of cute things, and they find TaeTae to be more adorable than his stage name.

While V’s nickname is gaining popularity in the K-pop community, the BTS star had been called TaeTae since his high school days.

Meanwhile, V’s visuals are very tricky as he can switch from cute to sexy in a matter of seconds. But, one thing is for sure, the BTS singer has one of the most beautiful faces in the K-pop world.

In fact, one employee was so shocked by V’s unreal visuals that they ended up asking if he was made by the “world’s best sculptors.” In one of the episodes of Run BTS!, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook played against each other in the VR (virtual reality) center. The employee who spilled V’s top-notch visuals worked from there.

“It’s not enough to just call him good-looking. It’s as if they brought together the worlds’ best sculptors in one place and told them to make the most good-looking face in the world and that they couldn’t leave until they did,” the said.
