It's not, apparently, a house full of drama and heartache in the House of Windsor. A source claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have grown closer to the royal family despite the pandemic.

The insider spoke with Entertainment Tonight to downplay what has been going on with the Sussexes and the royal family. According to the source, the royal family drama only appears fractured in the tabloids but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are, reportedly, closer to their relatives in the U.K. than ever.

The source added that the royals are excited for whatever Harry and Meghan are starting in the U.S. The Sussex pair has been in Los Angeles since March, following their step back from their royal roles.

Since moving on to a different direction from their public duties, Harry and Meghan have secured a Netflix deal and have been appearing at different speaking engagements. They are also slowly working on building their upcoming non-profit organization, Archewell.

The news comes amid speculations that Queen Elizabeth ordered Harry to fly back to the U.K. as soon as possible for a proper "telling off." Allegedly, Harry's recent statements about various political issues in the U.S. have burnt bridges "beyond repair" that it was time for the Queen to step in.

Sources claimed that the royal household staff at Frogmore Cottage have been instructed to make preparations because they are expecting Prince Harry in a matter of weeks. The source also confirmed that he will have a meeting with his grandmother but Harry will not be required to isolate since he and the Queen can meet in person while observing social distancing.

However, the trip back home doesn't seem to include the Duchess of Sussex. According to Daily Mail, representatives from Harry and Meghan's camp have not commented on the reports of his solo trip to England.

Another source said that the reason for Harry's return to his homeland is related to his visa in the U.S. Reports cited that Harry might have to pay "monumental tax" if he's been in the U.S. for 183 days straight.

A tax expert told Daily Mail that unlike tax people in the U.K., the U.S. taxman is surely watching the royal's number of days in the country with interest. His tax bill might be high because he will need to pay both federal and state taxes, as well as declare his sources of income, such as his multimillion Netflix deal.

Another taxman said that his trust fund, savings account and various assets in the U.K. and the U.S. will also be up for scrutiny. But, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might have likely consulted with legal tax experts even before his 183 days are up.
