Le'Veon Bell could be out of New York in the next few weeks following reports that the Jets are actively shopping the running back around. If a trade partner can be found soon, Bell's exit will put a stop to the troubled relationship between him and head coach Adam Gase.

Bell's discontent with the Jets has been no secret and his latest action of liking tweets of his poor showing only fired up speculations that the 28-year-old is actively clamoring for a way out. After the loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the star again triggered talks of him leaving when he liked suggestions made by Jets that he should be traded.

And it seemed that would the exact course that the Jets front office is taking. Citing the information shared by Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, Yahoo Sports reported that the team is looking for a way to ease out Bell. The RB is believed to be on the trading block and the Jets are hoping they can finalize a deal before November 3, when the deadline expires.

If Bell would be out of the picture in the coming weeks, the Jets will be saving up to $19 million, which would be the back's salary for the remainder of the season and the next in 2021. In any case, the team will need to cough up $2.5 million this week for the player's bonus.

Bell getting out of New York will not come as a surprise at all. From Day One, he seemed disconnected with Gase and more so, his form playing for the Jets was far from impressive. Since joining up in 2019, the running has been registering numbers that were below expectations.

Last season, Bell only averaged 3.2 yards per carry, the lowest in his career, and seven yards on all 66 catches. Per the same report, Bell is not flourishing under Gase, and for the most part, the two are operating with seemingly unresolved tensions.

According to Bleacher Report, Gase was reluctant to take in Bell from the start, which explains why their relationship only deteriorated through the past months. The running back signed up in March 2019 and Gase disapproved of the deal. The coach thought the deal was a waste of money.

"Gase made it clear that he didn't want to spend a lot of money on any running back," said the report.

It did not help that Bell struggled with a hamstring injury. The player was taken out of the scrimmage in August as a measure to keep from further harm. But Bell saw the action of his coach in a different way and did not hide his displeasure in his social media postings.

It has been the case since - the two waging their war of words in public, and Gase described the situation as unhealthy. The coach said he would prefer Bell to voice out his complaints to his face.
