Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 170, titled "A New Rasengan," will surely surprise everyone with the return of an old character. With the mysterious appearance of this original character from Naruto, will he help Boruto in his quest to use the Rasengan perfectly and defeat Deepa?

The new episode will feature the return of Ibiki Morino. Here, the tokubetsu jōnin meets with Kakashi and Boruto.
Ibiki is a Konoha shinobi, whose unique skills focus on interrogation and torture. He is a mysterious and creepy ninja of the Hidden Leaf that wears a bandana to cover the scars on his head and face.
So, why did he return to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 170? Ibiki may have new information about the Kara Organization, which will help Boruto to possibly defeat Deepa.
Anyhow, in the meantime, Boruto and Sasuke have to continue with their training. According to Comicbook, Boruto will start things out with Shikadai, as the latter doesn't want him to chase after Deepa again.
Boruto then assures Shikadai he will never do what she fears but only train the hardest, like Sarada. So, Shikadai promises Boruto she will help him hone his fighting abilities.
Elsewhere, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 170 will also show Sakura and Ino enjoying a couple of drinks with Hinata. However, things will be quite different when Ibiki suddenly shows up.
With Ibiki's meeting with Kakashi, Boruto will be curious about what is happening. By the looks of it, the shinobi will go with his teacher and Ibiki somewhere in the village, although it remains to be a big mystery as to why they head there.
Fans believe Ibiki and Boruto may face each other in sparring to hone the latter's skills. This way, they can prepare Naruto's son for the return of Deepa.
