The Demon Slayer movie, Mugen Train, is about to be out in Japan this week. Now, fans all over the world want to know if they'll also have the chance to see Tanjiro Kamado's new adventure with an English dub.

When Demon Slayer Season 1 ended in September, the series' writers, Ufotable, announced on Twitter their next project would be a feature film. Officially titled Mugen Train, it would be a direct continuation where the anime series' first season left off.

Here, according to HITC, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu and Nezuko boarded the train, where over 40 people were reported to be missing. So, would the American fans see this side of the story?

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train will hit the Japanese theatres on Friday, Oct. 16. It will be released simultaneously in all 38 IMAX theaters across the country.

The IMAX release will use its enhanced sound feature to fit the movie's format to give viewers an incredible experience. Through this, they will feel like they are in the middle of the battle when Tanjiro uses his water breathing techniques.

So, when it will hit the U.S. theaters? Monsters and Critics reported FUNimation and Aniplex talked about Demon Slayer: Mugen Train's international release during the New York Comic Con Metaverse panel.

The representative revealed the movie would be out sometime in early 2021 in North America. It would be an English dub, but FUNimation acknowledged some fans wanted to see the film with its original Japanese audio language with English sub instead.

So, there might be two movie screenings in the U.S. with two different audio versions. With that, there's a big possibility Demon Slayer: Mugen Train would only be out on limited days.

Also, FUNimation and Aniplex didn't precisely reveal when the movie would be out in the American and Canadian theaters. With the 2021 target release date, it could be in winter 2021, within the months of January to March.

However, there are still uncertainties due to the possible hit of the COVID-19's second wave in the U.S. With the rising cases in the country, some fear that the number of people catching the virus will grow incredibly over time.

As FUNimation and Aniplex eye the film to have a huge audience as much as possible, it will surely watch how this thing will play out. It may only give Demon Slayer: Mugen Train an official release date based on the reopening schedules of American theaters so that more people will have the chance to see the movie.
