RM has been called the “best leader” by ARMYs and his members for many reasons. One of the BTS star’s traits that garnered him a lot of praise is how he always looks after Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
Despite his young age, RM is someone that the members, even the ones who are older than him, can rely on. Many noticed that even though the 26-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer can be very clumsy at times, he’s very gentle and careful with his members.
So when J-Hope got startled by smoke explosions to announce the entrance of K-pop girl group TWICE at the 2019 Gold Disc Awards, RM tried to make him feel better by offering him something. The “Ego” rapper is a self-proclaimed scaredy-cat and gets startled pretty easily, so the BTS leader knew he had to do something about the situation.
J-Hope was just minding his own business at the time, just waiting for the performers to go on stage when suddenly a loud sound erupted, and it nearly gave him a heart attack. (Watch the clip here). RM, who was sitting beside him, seemed to be more shocked by JH’s reaction than the explosion.
RM looked concerned at first but then realized that J-Hope was fine, and smiled at him. The BTS leader then offered him some lip balm to make sure he'll feel better. (Watch the clip here).
While RM’s gesture may not make a lot of sense for most people, it actually worked for J-Hope. The BTS rapper accepted the offer, applied the lip balm, and it seemed like it got his nerves back under control. (Watch the clip here).
This just goes to show that RM knows his members very well and knows exactly what to do to make them feel better in any given situation. Who knew that a simple lip balm could make someone feel relaxed? Thanks to RM, JH can now sit back and enjoy the show. (Watch the clip here).
Just like any other K-pop groups, BTS has a Hyung Line and a Maknae Line. However, the members proved numerous times that they have one more line, which is The Scaredy-Cat Line.
Being in the industry for quite a while, fans got to know RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook a little bit more. While their age separates the older boys from the younger ones, the Scaredy-Cat Line is a mix of both, but the main members are Jin and J-Hope.
