A new set of leaks about the upcoming AMD Big Navi Radeon RX 6000 graphics card series surfaced online. It provided the Big Navi SKUs' power consumption figures, which will power the enthusiast and high-end tier of the upcoming graphics card series. Moreover, the leak revealed several figures that provide a much better perspective at what to expect from the forthcoming lineup of GPUs from the chipmaker.

The latest information came from Igor's Lab and was first reported by Wccftech. According to the report, the figures leaked earlier about the AMD Navi 21 XT and AMD Navi 21 XL's power consumption was not accurate since they mention TGP instead of TBP. Those figures were reportedly just the VRAM and GPU figures of the AMD Big Navi SKUs.

The report instead offered a new breakdown showing that the AMD Radeon RX 6000 Navi 21 XT GPU for enthusiasts features a power consumption of 235W, which is for the GPU alone. Aside from that, the 16 GB memory would increase another 20W to the card's power budget. The AUX components of the PCB will add 5W, MOSFETS another 30W, while fans and other power sections add an additional 15W.

The report also accounted for the PCB losses at 15W, which gives a total of 320 W for the AMD Navi XT GPU powered Radeon RX 6000 series. Given this figure, it is safe to say that the Navi XT powered RX 6000 features the same power figures as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition. As per Wccftech, the custom Navi 21 XT GPUs would feature a total board power of 355W, which is comparable to some custom GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards.

Meanwhile, the AMD Navi 21 XL powered Radeon RX 6000 series card features a total board power of 290W with its custom models having a little higher TBP. It is possible that AMD is gunning for the higher-end route since the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 features a TBP of 220W.

Aside from this, Wccftech reported both the Navi 21 XT and Navi 21 XL-powered AMD Radeon RX 6900 series GPU would feature 16 GDDR6 memory. The Big Navi 21 XT will reportedly use the Samsung K4ZAF325BM-HC16 DRAM chips. It is rated at 16 Gbps speeds for 512 GB per second. Meanwhile, the AMD Big Navi 21 XL features the Samsung K4ZAF325BM-HC14 DRAM chips rated at 14 Gbps and could deliver 448 GB per second bandwidth.
