After two years, Mirzapur Season 2 will finally be out. Fans are now excited to see the return of Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) on the small screen as he continues his journey against the Pandit family.

In Mirzapur Season 2, fans will see Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) taking his revenge against the Tripathi family. He will get the help of Golu (Shweta Tripathi) to take Munna (Divyendu Sharma) and Kaleen (Pankaj Tripathi) down.

According to Express, the new season's synopsis revealed the canvas of Mirzapur, the hinterland of North India, would get bigger, but the rules would remain the same. It would also feature a stellar ensemble cast.

It will continue to show a stylish but rustic journey, where crime, drugs, and violence dominated the city and only one can survive. The new season will feature Vijay Varma, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Isha Talwar. Of course, all of the original cast will make a return in the second season, along with some new faces.

Fans will finally get to see Mirzapur Season 2 on Friday, October 23, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video. Before the official release date was announced, there were fears the new season would be moved to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fortunately, the TV series will continue this year. However, HITC noted its official release time is yet to be confirmed, but it might be dropped around midnight or 12:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time on the said date.

It also remains to be seen when it will exactly be out on Amazon Prime, but there are assumptions it will be released at the same India Standard Time. Its release may be based on either Amazon Prime India or Amazon HQ in Washington, United States.

All nine episodes of Mirzapur Season 2 will be dropped in one go. So, fans can binge watch the show over the weekend.

For fans who don't have a subscription yet, they can sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. When the trial expires, they can officially subscribe to Amazon for £7.99/₹129/$12.99 per month.
