Re: Zero Season 2 is getting better and better each episode. Although the second season is yet to come to an end, fans are now looking forward to the coming of Re: Zero Season 3.
The second season improves every aspect of the anime series, from the storyline to the plot. Also, each character's storyline gets more interesting in every episode.
The season has two cours. The first half already ended in September, while the second half will be out in January 2021.
So, will Re: Zero Season 3 comes after it? According to Video Tape News, there is no official announcement about the new season yet.
In an interview with Crunchyroll, the anime series' producer, Sho Tanaka, talked about the possibility of the renewal. He said he's confident that fans would be clamoring for a new season once they've finished watching the second installment.
Although his statement doesn't confirm the coming of the third season, it may be enough hint that Re: Zero Season 3 will be in the works. Compared to the original light novels, the anime has a lot of stories to cover.
So, there may be a big possibility that a new season will come. Also, the series itself receives a lot of positive reviews that may be enough reason for it to continue.
Re: Zero Season 1 was out in 2016. It had been only on air for five months, from April to September. Immediately, The Dead Toons noted it became one of the most popular anime series on all platforms after the first season dropped.

Although the two-cour second season has yet to end, it already showed a huge commercial success. It even did well compared to the first season. With its success, the coming of Re: Zero Season 3 may be imminent.
