Fans have been waiting for One Punch Man Season 3 since Season 2 ended in July last year. As viewers waited for four years between the first and second seasons' release, will the third season experience the same? Here's everything we know so far.

According to Devdiscourse, it may take a long while before One Punch Man Season 3 hits the small screen. The creators, ONE and Yusuke Murata, maybe taking their time to work on the new season.

However, as the COVID-19 pandemic happened, the outbreak might have also affected the new season's production, just like other TV and movie productions. The whole entertainment industry was put to a full stop due to the widespread of the disease.

Anyhow, the anime series' third installment is expected to be action-packed, just like the previous seasons. There might be more fighting scenes, although Genos would not be often seen in the next installment.

Of course, fans are about to witness more sense of humor in One Punch Man Season 3. There will also be several heroes that will move into the hideout of Monsters.

With this, viewers can expect to see more fights coming. More details about the Monster Association and its members will be out and fans will soon see Saitama and Garou's face-to-face once again.

Meanwhile, Anime Next Season noted there is still enough source material that can be adapted by One Punch Man Season 3. Currently, there are already 22 manga volumes that are released in Japan this year.

Chapters 107 to 138 have yet to be out in tankōbon format, so there are enough stories to tell if the new season will push through. Of course, the original cast members are all expected to return.

Makoto Furukawa may reprise his role as Saitama, along with Kaito Ishikawa as Genos, Shota Yamamoto as Bearded Worker, and Ueda Youji as Bespectacled Worker. Also, Nobuo Tobita as Sitch, Hiromichi Tezuka as Commentator, Sawashiro Yuuichi as Mumen Rider, and Yoshiaki Hasegawa as Eyelashes will be there.

The anime series' first season was out in 2015. After four years, a second season followed. With this, it is quite hard to predict when the third season will be out.

TeCake reported the third season might dropped at the same time the second season was out last year. But, the time came and went, no One Punch Man Season 3 was seen.

So, fans should take these assumptions with a grain of salt as the anime series' studio has yet to announce or even confirm anything about the anime series' return. Do you think One Punch Man Season 3 is coming? Share your comments below.
