Money Heist season 5, also known as La Casa De Papel in Spanish, is the final installment of Netflix's heist crime drama. There are a lot of theories on how the series will officially end, with some speculating The Professor (Alvaro Morte) will make a drastic move and join the gang inside the Bank of Spain.
Over the past four seasons, The Professor has been the mastermind of the gang's heist. He's working outside and instructing everyone what to do. But, since Money Heist season 5 serves as the series' final outing, fans speculated he's going to enter the Bank of Spain to join the rest in action.
Despite being the most significant member of the gang, The Professor hasn't stepped inside the Royal Mint and the Bank of Spain. Some theories suggest that the heist mastermind will finally put on the iconic Dali mask and wear the red jumpsuit, which is a perfect way to conclude the story.
One fan on Reddit noted that the final outing could see The Professor entering the Bank of Spain to help the team, who's still trapped inside and trying to find a way out. It's be interesting to see him in action and leading everyone in person, especially since he's the person behind the heist plan.
While The Professor has shown his superior and tactical skills, it's still unknown how he would fare in the real fight. Even though he won't be similar to the likes of Gandía (José Manuel Poga), his help is highly needed as the tension inside the bank increases.
Some fans agreed with the theory, noting that it would be disappointing if The Professor won't put on the gang's iconic costume in Money Heist season 5. One fan is hoping to see the character entering the bank to negotiate and see him in action.
However, it should be noted that The Professor is in a tight position once the final installment premieres on Netflix. At the end of the season 4 finale, Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) managed to infiltrate his secure hideout and held gunpoint to the criminal mastermind.
Meanwhile, Money Heist season 5 started production in early August. The show encountered a series of delays due to the coronavirus outbreak. The upcoming installment will shoot in Spain, Denmark, and Portugal. The final outing will consist of a total of 10 episodes.
