Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunited on screen after nearly two decades earlier in September. They participated in the virtual table read of the Fast Times at Ridgemont High, alongside several celebrities, including Matthew McConaughey.

Following the shocking reunion, talks about the "tension" between the former couple became apparent among shippers and supporters. While the two stars seemingly remained silent about the matter, McConaughey shared his thoughts a month later, according to Page Six.

The Interstellar actor, who played Mike Damone during the virtual table read, told Andy Cohen that the "heat through" Brad's screen is so "palpable." His response was a joke, though, adding that he did not actually notice anything. Nevertheless, he said that it became a "good topic" the day after.

Matthew McConaughey, then, noted that he saw several discussions about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt after the actual virtual reunion. He, reportedly, realized that many fans saw "sizzling moments" between the former couple.

Cosmopolitan released a similar report about the matter. It recalls what happened during the table read and explains why it caused the internet to "implode" last month.

The actor's character, Brad Hamilton, fantasizes about Aniston's Linda Barrett based on the script. Jen and Brad exchanged "flirty" lines as they recreate a scene from the material.

Following the throwing of their lines, as well as Morgan Freeman's clear narration of the whole scene, celebrities who were present at the virtual engagement, such as Julia Roberts and Jimmy Kimmel could not hold their emotions. This, then, allowed many fans to conclude that the "tension" between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston was, indeed, evident.

As the rumors about the former couple's relationship continue to develop, they rarely make comments on the issue. Aside from the lack of remarks, Jen and Brad have never made any public appearance together.

It makes total sense, though, as the restrictions remain in the country due to the COVID-19 crisis. The Daily Mail reported, however, that the Friends star made an outing earlier last week in Beverly Hills.

This was the first time that the public saw her outside the streets of Los Angeles in the last eight months. Based on photos, Jennifer Aniston was wearing a "dress down" attire with her gray sweatpants, white flats, and a pair of designer sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt is currently facing several noises from various publications as his alleged former girlfriend Nicole Poturalski has, reportedly, broken her silence about their split.
