Re: Zero Season 2 is yet to come to an end, but fans now want to know more about Re: Zero Season 3's future. As the second season's second half is about to drop early next year, the talks about the next installment are, reportedly, open.

According to Monsters & Critics, Re: Zero Season 3 is now in discussion. Sho Tanaka, the show's producer at Kadokawa, even excitedly talked about the new season without being asked.

In an interview with Crunchyroll, he said he's confident fans would clamor for a third installment after they had finished watching the current season. By the looks of it, the anime series creators now have plans to continue Subaru Natsuki's story.

With positive responses and reviews, it is not far that there will be a third season coming. Now, the question is, when will it hit the small screens?

The third installment's release date is said to may have been "over the horizon," but the wait may not be too long. The second season's new episodes are coming faster compared to other anime series.

Although there is a full seasonal break between the releases of new episodes, there is no way the second half of Season 2 can be considered Re: Zero Season 3. It will be a direct continuation of the second season's storyline that will bring the major story arc to an end.

As a split cour season, the first half, which had 13 episodes, ended on September 30. The next, cour, officially called "Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2," is set to be out in January 2021, per The Cinemaholic.

So far, Re: Zero Season 2 has been showing an intense turn of events. The second cour is believed to make everything run smoothly for Subaru.

Crunchyroll now dropped the official preview for the episodes' continuation. Here, Subra is seen desperately needing a major W. This time, fans will see him doing much better.

The anime series is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shin'ichirō Ōtsuka. However, compared to the novel, the show has "a lot of ground to cover."

So, fans can expect to see more twists and turn on Rezo: Season 3. Also, there is a strong possibility it will have two cours, just like the current season.
