Fans are about to see the return of Legoshi and the rest of the gang on Beastars Season 2. Orange studio has finally revealed the new season's release date in Japan, although it remains to be seen when it will hit Netflix.

According to HITC, the second installment was initially set to be out in August. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was also delayed, along with other TV and movie productions and releases.
Now, Japanese fans are about to see Legoshi's return on Beastars Season 2 in January 2021 on the Fuji TV Network. Sadly, international viewers have to wait a little longer before the new season gets a worldwide release, but there are predictions that it may come either in March or April 2021.
In August, Netflix France made a mistake after announcing its release on the streaming giant in January 2021. It later issued a public apology for the misinformation.
Meanwhile, the live-streamed Fuji TV Anime Lineup Unveiling 2020 dropped the trailer for Beastars Season 2. Anime News Network also revealed the new cast that fans are about to see in the series.
Taiten Kasunoki will take the role of Ibuki in the second season, along with Subaru Kimura as Free and Yuuki Kaji as Pina.
Written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki, the manga series was launched in Weekly Shōnen Champion in September 2016. It ended in October this year, while Akita Shoten published its 21st volume in the same month.
Beastars tells the story of the divided students, between predators and prey, at a high school. One of them is Beastar, an academic and social model set to become a leader in a society full of mistrust.
With the death of an herbivore student at Cherryton Academy, the herbivores suspect that the carnivores have something to do with it. Legoshi, the innocent large gray wolf, becomes their prime suspect. From here, the mystery begins and everyone starts to doubt Legoshi.
