Rapper, fashion mogul and nuisance candidate Kanye West on Saturday conceded defeat in his weird bid to become president of the United States.

Yeezy, the sole candidate of his political party he named the "Birthday Party," however, said he'd make another run for the presidency in 2024. He tweeted "Kanye 2024," signaling another long-shot bid.

West was on the ballot in only 12 states and picked-up 60,761 votes as of 10:30 a.m. PT on November 3. More than 160 million votes -- the largest in U.S. history -- were cast in this election that saw Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden deny Donald Trump reelection.

West, also known as Mr. Kim Kardashian, personally voted in Wyoming where he owns a ranch. His vote, however, wasn't counted because he wasn't on the ballot in this state. West even posted a video to social media showing him writing his own name on the ballot.

Wyoming state officials said West's vote won't be credited to him unless he files additional paperwork. The state counts ballots such as West's generic write-in votes unless the candidate wins, or unless they file paperwork and pay a fee to the state, explained Wyoming secretary of state spokeswoman Monique Meese. She said West hadn't made this filing as of Tuesday.

West's updated state-by-state breakdown based on an AP report:

  • Arkansas: 4,040
  • Colorado: 6,254
  • Idaho: 3,631
  • Iowa: 3,202
  • Kentucky: 6,259
  • Louisiana: 4,894
  • Minnesota: 7,789
  • Mississippi: 3,277
  • Oklahoma: 5,590
  • Tennessee: 10,216
  • Utah: 4,344
  • Vermont: 1,265

Yeezy, 43, admitted defeat on the same day major news organizations such as CNN and Fox News called the presidency for Biden after he won the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania and its 20 Electoral College votes.

Biden's win in the closely fought Pennsylvania race gave him 279 Electoral College votes to Trump's 213. A candidate needs 270 Electoral College votes to win the U.S. presidency. Biden also won Nevada and its six Electoral College votes.

West, who admits to having a bipolar personality disorder, claimed God wanted him to run for president. He also calls himself an evangelical Christian. Yeezy's first campaign video is about religion, God, and Christian families at prayer.

"God just gave me the clarity and said it's time," West said a few months ago in justifying his decision to run for president.

"You know I was out there, ended up in the hospital, people were calling me crazy," he previously insisted when asked why he was doing this. "I'm not crazy."
