The beginning of an end is about to come as the scripts for Lucifer Season 6 are now complete. Cameras are now rolling for the show's final season and showrunner Ildy Modrovich dropped a heart-melting photo of the Writer's Room.
Netflix has saved Lucifer after Fox canceled the show following three seasons. The streaming giant gave Tom Ellis and the rest of the cast another chance to give their best shot and they never disappoint fans. Now, everyone is busy working on Lucifer Season 6.
Modrovich shared a screenshot of the Writer's Room virtual meeting. Here, everyone was seen blowing a kiss as they said goodbye to each other.
This would be the last time that the staff would hold a meeting for the 10-part season finale. In the caption, Modrovich said it was their last day in the Writer's Room.
She continued the people she had worked with behind the camera inspired her "beyond words." Despite the end, she could feel her heart was so full, but it was also breaking due to the show's ending.
We Got This Covered noted the production for Lucifer Season 6 had started last month after completing the filming for the Season 5 finale. Although the production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the writers used their extra time to their advantage to tweak the final episode and made it more "open-ended" to prepare for the final season.
The second half of Season 5 is now ready to drop. So, fans are now hoping to see the remaining eight episodes on Netflix early next year.
In Lucifer Season 6, things will be getting more serious between Lucifer and his evil twin, Michael and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside). God (Dennis Haysbert) now left the Silver City to look after his quarreling children.
From here, what will happen to Lucifer Season 6? Executive producer Joe Henderson promised fans would be satisfied with the show's ending.
He said it would end in a "fulfilling and final way." According to Digital Spy, Henderson and the rest of the people working for the TV series are happy they have finished the fifth season production.
He promised they would work to finish the show and thanked the cast and crew for their hard work amid the pandemic. Now, he assured they would be delivering a "kickass finale."
Henderson even teased fans should watch the latest cut of Lucifer Season 5 finale, hinting it is "so amazing." Anyhow, they have yet to reveal the official release date of Lucifer Season 6.
