Meliodas and his band are about to take their final adventure in The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5. Now that the manga series has ended, the anime still has a lot of content to cover before officially closing its story.
According to Epic Dope, titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgment, it is coined to be The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5. It will feature Melodias as the new Camelot Castle's demon king.
Elizabeth and Melodias have parted ways, while the destiny of many of its characters remains intertwined. Elsewhere, the real enemy is yet to be defeated.
On the official website of the franchise, it dropped a new Season 4 trailer, along with other important details and key visual. Here, each character shows how they will fight for their destiny.
Despite parting ways, Meliodas and Elizabeth will continue their journey as they go against the "fate of eternal life and destiny." Now, the big question will be is, will these two finally reunite?
By the looks of it, the trailer gives fans more questions to ask than answers. Comicbook noted the clip reveals how the new season will break the cycle of reincarnation, which Meliodas has been suffering for so long.
With the continuous reincarnation, he is left chasing Elizabeth for thousands of years already. Will they finally have the happy ending they are looking for in The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5?
The preview also gives a glimpse to the cast that fans are about to see in the final season. Melioda's crew is back, as fans see Bank Merlin and Escanor. There will be a lot of "confusing iconographies" that will have a major role in the upcoming season.
On the other hand, the new visual teases Meliodas and Elizabeth try to get a hold of each other. It also shows their stands with the emergence of their angel and demon wings. The characters around them give a glimpse to their own destiny.
The cast and crew of the anime series will return to reprise their roles in front and behind the camera. Studio DEEN will produce The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5, which was initially set for release in October but moved to a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
So, when it hits the small screens? CBR noted it would be out on January 6, 2021, in Japan. However, its release in the U.S. is yet to be revealed.
