The bromance between the Goblin and the Grim Reaper is very much alive. Lee Dong Wook recently showed his close friendship with Gong Yoo with a sweet surprise.

According to a report by Koreaboo, Gong Yoo was scheduled to be a guest for Yoo Jae Suk's Yoo Quiz on the Block to promote his upcoming movie, Seo Bok.

When Lee Dong Wook learned about it, he immediately planned a surprise for his good friend. The Instagram account of the show revealed that The Tale of the Nine-Tailed actor sent Gong Yoo a coffee truck for his arrival at the variety show. Lee Dong Wook previously sent a coffee truck to the set of Seo Bok while the movie was being filmed.

The coffee truck featured a message to cheer on the cast of the show. It also featured promotions for The Tale of the Nine-Tailed and Gong Yoo's upcoming sci-fi film.

Over the years, the two actors have constantly showed support for each other. In 2018, Gong Yoo sent a food truck to Lee Dong Wook's drama Life and teased him mercilessly on the banner message, Soompi reported

He also supported Lee Dong Wook's foray into variety when he appeared as a guest for his interview program Because I Want To Talk.

The pair showed off their chemistry when they went on a road trip to spend the day together, Soompi reported. During Gong Yoo's appearance for the pilot episode, Lee Dong Wook even playfully called out his audience for giving Gong Yoo bigger applause even though he was the host of the talk show.

In May, the two actors teamed up to show their support for fellow Goblin cast member Kim Go Eun when they sent a coffee truck to the set of The King: Eternal Monarch. They cutely addressed the actress with her character name and also introduced themselves as the Goblin and the Grim Reaper.

It can be recalled that the two actors developed a close friendship while they were filming the fantasy drama Goblin: The Great and Lonely God in 2016. The drama became one of the biggest hits of the year but the bromance between the actors remained well after the series concluded.

Apart from Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook also proved his close friendship with former co-star Im Siwan, with whom he worked together on the thriller drama Strangers from Hell.

He sent a coffee truck to the set of Im Siwan's upcoming drama Run On and referred to their memorable dialogue from their previous project.
