One Piece Chapter 996, titled "Island with the Strongest," summary is now out, teasing intense turn of events with the coming of Law, Kid, and more. As the 1000th chapter is getting near, it looks like Eiichiro Oda is preparing for something big.
According to Devdiscourse, One Piece Chapter 996 will be focusing on Sanji, who is going on a battle against the Queen. Law and Kid will also make their much-awaited appearance as they are about to face Kaido.
There will also be a confrontation between Yamato and Sasaki, while Tama and Komainu will take Usopp and Nami together. Elsewhere, General Franky will arrive at Yamato after Hatcha chases him.
Yamato and his people will manage to escape after the Hatcha's bat swing pierced the floor. The summaries also reveal Luffy, Jingbe, and Sanji are now on the second floor, making their way to the rooftop.
Sanji will then open her eyes after hearing the Black Maria's sound and the Courtesan's banquet coming from the third floor. Fans will then see the filter hiding Yamato's face.
By the looks of it, One Piece Chapter 996 will mostly focus on Sanji, going on a battle against Queen and Zoro. He may turn into an Ice Demon and save Chopper along the way.
There are also assumptions that Marco will help cure Chopper of the Ice Oni curse. If this happens, Chopper will have the chance to save everyone.
As there are predictions, Zoro will help search for the cure and never stop until he finds it; Marco may help Chopper prepare the antidote for everybody.
In the spoilers posted on Reddit, via Inquisitr, One Piece Chapter 996 will see Law finding the Road Poneglyph, which Kaido owned. It will also give a major hint about Yamato's devil fruit.
Fans will finally know where Law has been staying all the while. While his allies will be busy facing the Beast Pirates, the Surgeon of Death will be in the basement of Kaido's castle in Onigashima. He is with one of the four Road Poneglyps, which will help him find the way to the Laugh Tale.
Yamato will also have a significant transformation as a dragon, which is believed to be her devil fruit power. With the destruction that is about to happen, she will try to escape, bringing Momonosuke and Shinobu with her.
Tama and Komachiyo will also appear in One Piece Chapter 996. Nami will later ask Tama how they travel to Onigashima, revealing they board an enemy ship to get to the New World Island.
Fortunately, the manga is not on a break this week. Fans are about to see One Piece Chapter 996 earlier than expected on Friday, November 20, per BlockToro. Its raw scans are already leaked out and its spoilers are now circulating online.
