Kyrie Irving has yet to see a substantial playing time with the Brooklyn Nets but already the star is rumored set for another switch, and his likely destination would be the Miami Heat. If the movement will play out as suggested, it appeared that Irving moving out has something to do with James Harden.

The likelihood of Irving cutting short his anticipated collaboration with Kevin Durant was first sounded off by Bill Simmons of The Ringer. The analyst shared about a three-way trade deal that if completed will see the Nets star changing his jersey again after just one season.

Simmons, however, is not treating the information he obtained as hard facts, and taking on such a stance makes sense, according to Heat Nation. That's because Pat Riley, Miami's GM, has made clear that he is not keen to tweak his roster that nearly snatched the NBA title last season that eventually the Los Angeles Lakers won.

It's no surprise that Riley will want to stick with what he has but as the report insinuated, getting Irving on board to work with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo should be an exciting prospect for Erik Spoelstra's squad.

Irving is not only an NBA superstar but also a proven winner. The former Cavaliers man owns an NBA ring, won with LeBron James, and him operating with the Heat next season will surely make for a winning team. If last season was a near success for Miami in the NBA Finals, the trio of Irving, Butler, and Adebayo will make it a sure-fire victory for the Heat.

Yet as mentioned earlier, Irving donning a new uniform in December will hinge largely on Harden getting his wishes. Fadeaway World said the Rockets superstar demanded a trade at the start of the week and he wants to link up with the Nets.

The choice of destination will allow Harden to renew his partnership with Durant as the two once upon a time did wonder while playing for Oklahoma City. It would be an explosive team up but per the same report, Irving was far from thrilled.

So instead of building a juggernaut of a Nets squad next season, Irving will rather leave if indeed Brooklyn will follow through on the deal that will bring in Harden. For the 29-year-old to secure a ticket that will bring him to Florida, a trade involving three teams must come into play.

As already established, Irving will head to Miami and Harden will take his place at Brooklyn. And the Rockets will in turn get Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, K. Nunn, and Duncan Robinson plus one or two pick options.

As things stand now, the chance seemed low for this trade scenario to be realized as none of the teams did express an intention to make big changes in the offseason. But a big surprise happening in the weeks to come cannot be ruled out as well.
